1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CrawlRaven platform, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by CrawlRaven Ltd (“CrawlRaven”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. The service

CrawlRaven provides an automated SEO audit platform that crawls websites and analyses them for technical SEO, on-page SEO, and other factors. The Service includes access to audit reports, white-label reporting, API access (where applicable to your plan), and associated tools and features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to subscribers.

3. Account registration

To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current account information
• Maintain the security of your password and promptly notify us of any unauthorised access
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• Not share your account credentials with any third party
• Not create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions

4. Subscriptions and billing

CrawlRaven offers paid subscription plans as described on our pricing page. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorise us to charge your payment method on a monthly or annual basis as selected at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location.
• We offer a 14-day free trial on new accounts. A valid payment method is required to start a trial; you will not be charged until the trial period ends.
• Refunds are available within 30 days of initial purchase on paid plans. To request a refund, contact hello@crawlraven.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to crawl websites you do not own or do not have explicit permission to audit
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any CrawlRaven system or network
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Resell or sublicense the Service without express written permission
• Use the Service to send spam or engage in any form of unsolicited communication
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or plan restrictions
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations

6. Intellectual property

The CrawlRaven platform, including its software, design, trademarks, and content, is the intellectual property of CrawlRaven Ltd and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes. Reports generated by the Service based on your own website data may be used and shared by you freely. You must not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of our platform or documentation without prior written consent.

7. Data and privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service (including URLs you audit). By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process that data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. SEO audit results are provided for informational purposes only; we make no guarantees about search engine rankings or outcomes resulting from actions taken based on our recommendations.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CrawlRaven and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, or goodwill — arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for material breach of these Terms, including but not limited to violation of the acceptable use policy. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately and we may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users by email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
